Description: Tell-Tail is a solar beacon/weather vane sited at the edge of San Francisco Bay, adjacent to a well-used jogging path and Emeryville mud flats. Near the top of the structure, a funky blue hand reaches out to seize the horizon in whatever direction the wind is blowing. Capping the pole, an array of solar collectors turns in sync with the hand and at night illuminates it.
