DECONSTRUCTION ZONE

This illustration (above) was created to promote this temporary installation, which was commissioned by the San Francisco Arts Commission. Directly across the street from SF City Hall, Deconstruction Zone was built on a vacant lot, once the location of a paint warehouse. Postulating an explosion of the building, I created concrete shards of foundation sited under wood stud walls, suspended in space between two adjacent buildings.
